Beneath "Darren's Friends" there is a flash ad (normally seems to be for credit cards or loans) and then beneath that Google AdSense adverts. I just looked again and this time they're for low-cost airlines, but for a while everytime I hit refresh I just got stuff about bomb sniffer dogs (different companies each time). Weird.
